Coming up quick! Get those registration slips in, and book you rooms! Looks like it may be a very nice turn out.

More registrations rolling in. Looks like a 55 Caribbean making the trip from Prescott, Az. This is beginning to grow into a good bit of interest for a first gathering.

Remember, even if bringing a Packard is not in the cards, we would love to meet anyone that can make it!

80 days to Laughlin

Wikipedia: "...Laughlin is the third most visited casino and resort destination in the state after Las Vegas and Reno, and is one of the top five destinations for American RV enthusiasts.
Laughlin is advertised as a family-friendly destination and, being located on the river, it emphasizes outdoor and family activities. Many of the casinos that line the Colorado River are linked by an unofficial pedestrian thoroughfare known as the Laughlin Riverwalk...."

Laughlin is about 2 months away. Book those rooms, travel and get those registration slips in now!

I think we are going to have a nice turnout. I also think the Nov is one of the better months to visit the area. Still warm, but not hot, with cool nights.

I have been a bit derelict in my duties, and need to get back on the ball and start finalizing any open items with Jim. Stay tuned for more details soon.

If you have a Packard that can make the trip, we would love to see it there!

Guys make sure you are using the discount code "C/PINCC" when booking your rooms. Jim was able to negotiate a very nice discount off their normal rates.

I will be there Thursday morning through Sunday afternoon.

According to Jim we have folks coming to the event from as far away as Canada. I think we are going to have a nice little turn out for the event.

If I can get a roll call of people from here that are planning on attending, it would really help us with event planning.

Thanks!

My wife and I will be there from Colorado Springs. I hope that my brother from Oakdale, CA can join us.

I'm planning on trailering my 56 Executive if I can arrange for a trailer and tow vehicle. My Exec could possibly make it, but I have never taken it for more than 150 miles. It's about a 900 mile trip.

I hope that the people I meet up with can help me with some mechanical items.

I rented a trailer from U-Haul this spring to bring home my Clipper. They have two sizes, if you would go that route, make sure you get the big one. They are newer and made from aluminum. You will also need to lie and tell them it's a Studibaker because the don't list Packards in their data base.

I pulled mine with a 1/2 extended cab, long box, 4x4 Chevy. It worked very well. Quote:

THanks for the tips. I have just started to get things in order and the trailer is one of the first. I might have an enclosed 25' trailer available. If not, I'll probably go with the u-haul.
