After talking to my friend Paul in Las Vegas, he said that he had TT on his 56 Exec that he restored but he swapped it out for an open style. He said that the TT would turn both wheels in the same direction if off the ground.
Paul also said I would be smart to swap the entire rear end assy into my 55 Pat even if its not TT just because its so much easier to service the rear brakes on the 56. Craig

If Paul's tt diff did that, then mine is either not working properly or it is not a tt diff as stated on my build sheet. I'll try to determine which is the case. How does one prove that the PowerLoc diff is working? I had a set of Detroit 'limited-slip' units installed on my '04 Wrangler and was told that they operate in 'stages', that is when a wheel spins, the limited slip unit will engage in increments, until there is no more wheel slippage. Is that how the Powerloc diff's work (maybe without the incremental stages)? Again, how can I test mine, on my Packard, to see if it's working?
