22nd series bumpers

Hello. I am looking for new bumpers and grill pieces for my 1948 22nd series super eight. If anyone knows where I might be able to find a set it would be much appreciated. Also, are the bumpers/grill from a 23rd series car the same?
What is a good buying price for something like this?

I have many 22 series grill parts and some bumper parts. No one piece bumpers. Can you send part numbers or pictures of what you need, also jr or senior? I also have a complete 23 series grill. Dell

Also I’m not sure if it is a junior or senior model. I didn’t think the 22nd series had that distinction. I have the 1948 Packard super eight touring sedan (2272) model 2202

Not sure if these are the right part numbers for the bumper. I am not sure without a part plate to verify.
Bumper assy-rear 412868 2.0005
Bumper assy-front 410517. 2.000
Bar-bumper Impact 412786. 2.001 front
Bar-bumper Impact 389514. 2.001 rear
Guard-rear fender 395549. 2.0056 right
Guard-rear fender 395548. 2.0056 left

Attached are the pictures of my bumpers and grill pieces I currently have.
Looking for the grill price part numbers right now.

Yes, there is a distinction and it makes a big difference in knowing which when looking for parts! I've only ever had one 22nd series so not an expert but I believe there were mid-year changes in the bumpers so the photos should help.

How do I know which one I have? What is the difference I need to look for?

I‘m sure that someone more versed in 22nd series than I will be able to help. However, as I understand it, there were one-piece bumpers and three-piece bumpers.

If it is a 48, then it should have the multi-piece (10 altogether!) front bumper. The later cars had a one piece bar and two guards which will bolt right on to your car. I have a fresh rechromed one piece bar if you would like.

In the 22nd series, the Super Eight is considered a senior car, but it shares all of its grille pieces with the Eight and Eight Deluxe.

Good bumper summary. The original multi piece bumpers had the centers painted. Later versions can be all be chrome. The one piece is ordinarily a later 49 , usually 23rd series

Your 22 series is a late model with one piece bumpers. Have you thought of removing the paint to see what is undamaged and replatable? I have the center grill and the two long center bars, will have to dig through some boxes to see what I have of the smaller parts and take some pictures. The picture is of my station sedan with the early bumper. Dell
