Kev, Great news! Look forward to seeing you again. Are you arriving at DFW or ABI? I am planning on driving the '55 Clipper up on Thursday afternoon in order to participate in the Early Bird Tour on Friday morning. You are welcome to ride with me. I believe the tour is to Ft. Hood. Gordon Logan, who is the tour leader, said that folks liked the visit to Ft. Hood a couple of years ago and asked for a repeat.

Hey, I see there may be a BigKev sighting in Salado, this year--awesome. I never miss Salado. Puts a line in the sand to get my income taxes done.

My taxes are off to the accountant to do their thing.

I think the Salado meets are like the tree rings of our Packard lives. I am sure that other events across the country have the same effect. Cherish these times for they will not last forever.

I'm heading off to Salado in a couple of minutes. Meet a friend in Pflugerville and we will convoy. Looking forward to seeing all the many nice Packard folks once again. Big Kev is to be there too. Taking the 55 Clipper. Hopefully it will make the trip this year. Dwight was making noises about attending too. Maybe he will get to see his old Clipper. Tell you all about it when I return.

Thanks to JW for letting my wife and I to ride in his 55 Clipper on the Friday tour. This was my first non-torsion V8 car to ride in. It was a nice ride. Got to visit with Big Kev. He was busy helping Dave Flack with the heavy lifting.

The weather was good, the people were fun, sold some parts, met some new Packard people, another great Texas Packard meet. I hope to see pictures soon, especially since I did not take any.

we came down for about 40 min. enough to see all the cars and take a break from driving. we didn't stay long...everyone went into the tech session, so we left and came home.

just enough to see some nice cars and enjoy the driving with my family.
