Flackmaster was making an improved heavier construction of the second version rod with round rubber encased studs at the ends the white bulletin mentions. I don't know if he has all the other items needed to replace the first version flat bar with the vulcanized middle but might be worth an inquiry.

Thanks Ross, the photo provided cleared this up. I'm now guessing that the only grounds is the battery to frame, should there also be a secondary ground, I believe it was mentioned here on the forum there should also be a body to frame ground as well.
