HH, Thanks for the detailed description. Would you happen to have a photo of the vent window tab(2) orientation? I thought I had them set aside in proper order but someone placed them in a plastic container. I cant remember position and cant find a photo. Thanks again.

I didn't take many photos of the windows when they were out so this is about all I have. Hope you can see what you need but if not and you can point out the area needing more detail there may be enough visible to get a photo with them in the car.

HH, I'm working on the front windows. I need to know the orientation /placement of the two pivot stop washers. I'm doing a "dry" run before actual installation. I have placed the parts on the vent window shaft ,I think in the proper location/direction, as shown in the photo. Is this correct? Thanks

With the vent closed the tab fits in the little box like affair with the extended portion toward the front of the car. You can see the outline as to how it sits on the bottom of the little box thing in your top photo. When the vent is opened the tab swings in toward the center of car until the leading edge hits the rear of box and stops the glass.

The rear is the same except that instead of the sort of rectangle shape it is more a triangle shape. The pointed end is toward the front and hits the same spot on the box to stop the glass.

I did not take detail photos of that assy and am not 100% sure if the two tabs go together or are separated. Mine has a kind of raised portion on the shaft so both tabs didn't want to fit within the box. I used a tab on top which acts as the stop and another on the bottom to act as a friction washer for the spring. Looking at the outline on yours I think that may be correct because just the round top of spring would not have made the elongated pattern that is visible.

HH, As I was looking at the parts I noticed the wear marks. Thanks for reaffirming the installation. I'm keeping the photos for reference. FYI-as I remember the front vent windows open to past 90 degrees and rears only open to about 45 degrees. Thanks again
