Home away from home Joined: 2014/7/15 13:30 Last Login : Yesterday 21:53 From Cars at Crooked River Ranch, OR (I live in Santa Cruz, CA) Group: Registered Users Posts: 6282	The column shift was standard on 1939 Six and Eight models (my first Packard was a 1939 Six sedan) but even the Registry photo confirms that it is a 1939. 1938s had a trim piece running up onto the roof from the windshield divider, the door handles were similar but noticeably wider and the wheel covers were smooth rather than ribbed. Your wheel covers appear to be the 1938 type but the rest of the car is not! Posted on: 5/30 17:07
