With the Ultramatic quadrant on the steering column, that's clearly not the one that was raced. That one (car #2, motor M600081) was the only one of the three with standard shift & OD.

I believe this interior view belongs to the same Panther that was the original subject of this thread.

I had seen this car about 20 years ago in the Studebaker National Museum (when it was painted yellow/copper), but I couldn't get close enough to see its interior. However, I'd seen at least two of the other three Panthers up close, and seem to recall that each had a single bench seat.

IIRC from the coachbuilt.com site, Iona Manufacturing also fabricated bucket seat frames for GM. As such, I have to wonder if the bucket seats shown in this Panther were another post-Packard modification.
