Look under the car and locate the motor and gearbox that winds the short torsion bars. The control box is essentially adjacent to it and connected by a link.

Here is a photo to go with O_D's description. Essentially, the driver will be sitting almost directly above it.

If your TL isn't working properly, before you condemn or replace the control box there are several other things to rule out first.
