Listed on Criags List....might be worth checking out...if the seller would put a reasonable realistic price on this...was most likely a replacement engine... The ad is rather ambiguous...(1956 engine for a 1955 Nash?) and stating its bill of sale from a "Nash" dealer is dated 1960, when of course by then all the dealers would have been AMC/Rambler....but if its a new engine still in the crate, they dont come along every day.....

Yes, if it were a 1956 374 dual quad with carbs and bat wing air cleaner, then maybe the price would be OK.

A 320 "new" in the crate. You'd have to go through the whole engine and do a disassembly and checking anyway. One cylinder that's rusted and the whole she-bang is kinda useless.

I'd rather start with a good used 352 or 374 than that thing.

Familiar - like we've seen that one before. He was asking $6995 a while back, now has dropped to $4995. Unless one was restoring a Clipper and wanted it to be strictly authentic, well maybe.

The cheaper 55 Clippers had the 320 and I know the Constellations had the 352 with a single exhaust. I think this guy with the crate motor will have it for a long time at that price!
