All I want for Christmas is my Packard back!
My Packard back.

Why? Cause Christmas has nothing to do with Christmas anymore. Everybody wants to outdo each other and are paying off credit cards for the next 12 months for worthless junk that is mostly not appreciated anyway. Can you remember what you got 2 years ago? I'm more than happy to go from Dec 1st to Dec 27th overnight.

I ask my family to contribute to their favorite charity, the Packard Proving Grounds, or the Packard Museum in my name if they want to give me something for Christmas. This way they get the tax deduction and a deserving organization is helped. This is much more satisfying than getting something I would probably buy for myself if I felt the need or want. JWL

If I had a Packard I could drive, I would go look at the Christmas lights!

Sure like them bright headlights! better then my truck.

Sure was fun and the car finally ran perfect without drama! that spring I put on the carb solved the problem, which was a good thing because the highway on the way home went down to 1 lane at one point and it was not pretty for my left leg.

I did a clear history and the Christmas Lights are gone. Taken down and put away for another Christmas. Now I guess I'll go outside and take mine down before it snows here in Memphis.
Wes

Added later: 66 degrees today, just last week in the teens.

It got up to 9C here today so I got my lights down this afternoon before it started to pour rain...the snow level on my front yard dropped about 18" with the warm spell. Now just over two feet of snow left, before it goes back below 0 tomorrow afternoon.
