I am in the reassembly process of my '39 Super 8 Limo.
The car is missing a piece of hood molding., It is the same molding that runs the length of the vehicle.

The molding is 1/2 inch wide with 4 humps and is held on with spring clips. I need a piece that is 30" or longer.

See attached Photo.

Anyone know a source where I can buy a piece.

Sounds like the kind of thing Northfield Forming would have, if it were reproduced, that is their stock in trade.

have you tried "the usual suspects" of used Packard parts?

Merritt, Ray, Kanter, and others

It's the same trim as used on the luggage rack, which IS being reproduced and available through Merritt. Whether the hood side pieces are reproduced, I do not know.

If the cross-section is the same, the roll form can be run to different lengths, then have the end finishing
