BigKev,

I'f you're looking for something to do today head over to the car show in Woodbury. It's about 30-45 minutes from Hartford, down 84W.

Always a great show, good mix of cars.

You're going to go right by an iconic eatery in CT. Been around since 1928. The hot dogs and homemade relish are great. Right off 84W or 84E.

I'm about 30 minutes west of Hartford, maybe I'll see you at the show.

Sunday, June 10, in Woodbury: 40th Lions Club Car Show

WOODBURY -- The Woodbury Lions Club's 40th annual Car Show will take place at 10 a.m. Sunday, June 10, at Hollow Park on Hollow Road. The day-long event is expected to attract more than 300 of the best classic cars in the northeast and more than 1,000 spectators. Along with automobile classes, there will be judging for motorcycles, trucks, rat rods and military vehicles.

Blackie's Hot Dogs has been a Connecticut tradition since 1928. Over the years very little has changed, we serve the same dogs with our homemade relish. The menu is pretty simple it's about the dog...all you need to decide is how many - one, two, or three!

Hi Kev,
Just saw this post. I am in Bloomfield, CT, the suburb just north-west of Hartford. How long are you here for?
