Linkage at carburetor

I have attached a picture of my linkage to my carburetor, I had to put a bend on it for it was to long. My question is I think i am missing a plate that connects to the exhaust manifold, which is why the linkage is to long, and had to bend it. Does anyone have a picture of there carburetor that they can send me. As you can see in the picture the stud to connect the carburetor from manifold is only so long.

Jeff

Looks like you're missing the heat insulator block, it's about 3/8" thick. Studs are probably not the originals.

Owen I thought i was missing that I will have to look around and try and find it. Is it made of the exhaust material? , and yes the stud is 1 " to short or so.

Thanks
Jeff

Try the usual Packard vendors. Alternatively, a stack of gaskets would serve the purpose. The originals were made of some sort of non-metallic resin/polymeric material. I'm expecting that someone will come along with a photo and/or more information.

If I remember correctly it is the same size as a 6 cyl. chevy. I used one on my 42 110. Look on ebay for a phenolic block.

racing buddy had the material and he fabricated a block for me it wound up being 5/8 thick. runs much better and starts easier after turning off.
Thanks again for all help.
