That is so cool Ross! Thanks for posting. I've seen military surplus Weasel engine parts packed like this, but not garden variety engine parts meant for sale to the 'public'.

In the 80s I bought nos 55.56 bearings.
Hated using them. The bearing was like a mirror.

I have several NOS items in sealed containers, for example a delco container with an R-9 overdrive solenoid, kingpins(2sets) in the packard sealed box, some ex-military NOS rods dipped in cosmoline etc. I hesitate to break the seal this kind of stuff...I'll let the next guy have that honor.
Fun indeed.

A little more work on the new coupe-pickup this past week. Made the side panels I laid out in the flat last week and used the laser-cut Packard script sold by Keystone Packards for the front panel. Quite pleased with the look. Also tediously framed in the jambs of the tailgate.
