Brake Drum Inspection hole cover

So, when doing the last brake drum on my car, I discover that one of drum still had its metal drum inspection cover in place. This is for the hole on the drum, not the backing plate.

First time I've seen one in situ. The other three drums had them missing, as did all the drums on my '54.

Does anyone make these?

I didn't even know those existed. Where are they?

Is there a source for the rubber covers for the whole in the backing plate where the adjusting wheel is?

Yes, the rubber back plate covers are widely available. Ebay, and even your local parts store. Dorman makes them if a few different sizes.

This is the first time I've see an original drum inspection hole cover.

Hi Kevin,

I am unable to locate the accurate part number in the parts book for the 37 115C at this time.

Do you see one?
