Front bumper and inner fenders removed from the car in preparation for removing the front fenders.

Still looking for that parking light placement measurement if anyone has a 37 Junior Coupe.

Putting the fenders back on my dad's Super 8 was....not fun. Lining everything up was a real chore. It looks like your fenders are smaller so hopefully not as bad.

I need to pull the entire front clip off to change the front grille. Its really not aligned that well at the moment, as the hood is rubbing in multiple places. So I am sure it will a "joy" to get everything lined back up.

When I pulled the grille shell off I noticed some evidence that radiator was seaping where the top tank meets the core. Being non-pressurized, it probably was never a forced leak, nor did I ever see any leaking on the ground.

But since I wanted to paint all the core support anyway, I figured I would go ahead and pull the radiator out to get it checked and a local shop.

One of those hoses must have been glued on!

Should there be this much gap on these suspension pins/bushings. Is the rubber just gone? Right and Left pics.

More concerning, there are no cotter pins in place on either side!

I think the rubber should extend out to fill most of the gap, but not all of it. The rubber should be bonded to the inner and outer steel sleeve to keep the wheel support centered in the fork of the shock arm. Otherwise, caster would be all over the place.

I guess the next question is if the forks are splayed at all? They forks are cast-iron, so I don't imagine they are. I guess I need to see a picture of what one should look like to understand what is going on here.

In the mean time, I tightening down the nuts as the were hand tight only and and shoved in some cotter pins. That could have been a bad day if those came loose.

I'm pretty sure the arms forged steel. They look normal to me in the picture. They're well-braced by the inner sleeve in the rubber bushing. Don't lose the small steel "pilots" that go in the arms when you take the bolts out, and make a note or take pictures of how they are installed. They are what is used to set the camber angle, and they can be expensive to replace, if you can find any. Several different offsets are available. See the shop book for clarification.
