Okay guys, I've got a new question for you. In your humble opinion, what is the most UNDERVALUED Packard model at sales and auctions right now? Personally, I feel the '41-'47 Clippers are greatly undervalued for what they are, quality and style-wise. Of course I own a '41, but that has nothing to do with it! he he he :)

Any 51-54 non-convertible model. Great cars and super cheap prices.

I also agree that the '41-'47's are VERY undervalued. They are very long and sleek for what was out there.

I think the '55 & '56 Seniors are undervalued. The '55 & '56 Clippers Extremely undervalued.

I'd say that none of the V8 Packards I've been interested in appear to be undervalued at all!

I did see a 4-door Exec on Craigslist last year that looked very nice for the price. If it had two fewer doors... but that's probably why it was reasonable. I don't remember the exact price, but my "reasonable" is probably someone else's "undervalued."

Remember the old trader's rule: Whatever you have to sell is gold until you're offered what you're willing to take; whatever you want to buy is automatically crap, until they accept what you're willing to pay.

(That's just my own rule, FWIW. Others may have different ideas.)

Agree on '51 to '54s - especially since these were recognized as design leaders when new. Prices seem all over the map for a nice example, looks like a sharp shopper could get a sedan in really presentable shape well under $10K.

I'd say all 1948-1956 except convertibles. While some of them are not exactly cheap, they are much lower than comparable Buicks and Cadillacs of the era.
