Hi gang,

Talks are progressing. They've suggested having a shop modify the 55-56 Chevy tank - sealing off the upper Chevy opening and using our neck/vent attached in the appropriate place.
However it sounds like they are still open for further talks - it's actually kind of fun! They've sent 4 more e-mails and it's only midday.
More to come -

Hi Randy,
I plan on doing that come what may. Even if some supplier decides to make a run of our tanks I don't plan on waiting until next year to "Drive the 55"!

FLASH!!!
JUST GOT OFF THE PHONE WITH MIKE DULINSKI AND HE HAS A TANK THAT HAS ALREADY BEEN THROUGH THE "RENUE" PROCESS BUT NEVER INSTALLED. I BOUGHT IT.

I really enjoyed talking to him - sounds like a great guy! Plus I'll probably have a tank to install next weekend.

Meanwhile, I will continue to follow up with Classic regarding new tanks or tank kits.

P.S. The pump kit from Then & Now just arrived as well!

I haven't dug into mine yet, but I'm almost assuming I might need a new tank. We'll see.

I gather from talking to him that I definitely didn't get the last tank he had. VERY good on prices!!!!

I mentioned yesterday before going out to eat worms that I got a call that the radiator in my '51 was shot. Called Mike back and he had a NOS Radiator still in the original Packard box for a price that was less than the radiator shop (not Able Radiator by the way but a shop near my mechanic) wanted to "patch mine up" though they wouldn't promise it would hold.

He doesn't have that NOS radiator any more and worms are OFF the menu for tonight!

You must have a knack for the right place at the right time. Congratulations. The way you're going, the next expenditure will have to be a calendar to mark down which days to drive which car.

If I do have a knack, It's only developed recently and only with finding this group and these two Packards;
though you might have something there with the calendar.
