The white car has the original color. I remember when it was on Long Island. Metallic was not a regular production option for 1930 and had to be custom ordered. The brown car is if course the original color. And some the the dashboards need work.

I used to know the Buick Brewster intimately. I wonder if it still has the stain on the jump seat. There is a story behind that. Noel Thompson was known for having cocktail parties that ended up in the garage. Things got out of hand.

My thanks to 32model901 for the pictures! I envy your visit. I had heard about the existence of the '42 Cadillac Dual Cowl Phaeton but this was the first time I have ever seen one. I think I read that there were only one or two made?

I'd love the hear the story about the "Stain on the Buick Jump Seat" - sounds like an Agatha Christie title.

What a gorgeous collection! Looks like they really like the early 30's high end Packard.

Owen, laike you I also went to the post-2005 PAC tour to the Bahre collection.

The front-view photo of the red 1941 Packard does not do the car justice. Below is a front 3/4 view of the car with a custom body by Bohman and Schwartz taken with my cheesy, little camera with the overly bright flash.

IMHO, this version is much more handsome that a Darrin.

I agree! There probably isn't a finer-looking 1941 Packard. Two known to exist.
