I bought a 1949 Super Deluxe at auction in Atlanta in 1999. It had a pair of Trippe Fog Beams mounted. In the trunk was an original Trippe Fog Beam box. I still have the car and I still have the Trippe box.

Those lights look totally out of place.They were made for pre war cars.In fact, they look exactly like the ones I recently saw on a 1930 Cadillac.Post war Packards used smaller ones.

I would suggest that the Trippes could find a good home on a prewar car and cash would be left over after a set of factory accessory lights replaced them
