Just saw this addition to the collection of a local cars and parts guy in Colorado Springs. I understand he's looking for about $8K for it, and it seems to be quite complete, with many accessories. How many can you find? The last two photos are for Dave Czirr

Interesting what they did to the fresh air heater option by placing the whatever -- maybe oil filter?? -- can in front of it. Wonder if was left that way or had some flex tubing installed.

In the third from last photo what is the round wire like thing around the steering column or is that optical delusion.

The radio antenna is different -- almost looks like a police or private radio type but don't see a corresponding unit.

Appears to be an after market oil filter. I'll have to go back to see what that wire around the steering wheel is. I believe radio antenna's were available as left front fender or roof mounted for the front am radio and rear fender mounted for an optional passenger radio -- that's an option this car does not have. There is evidence of an option to the left of the oil filter, and the radio (attached to the antenna) is an option, but there are more.

Don, thanks for the numbers.

I doubt that item below the BDN is an aftermarket oil filter, it looks diecast and that plus the small wingnuts wouldn't seem secure enough for the pressures involved. wish I could make out the writing on it - tried enlarging but still couldn't make it out.

In addition I see spotlight, foglights, grill guard as obvious options. The WS washer jar and maybe the hoses thru the firewall are part of that. Not sure because there are 3 hoses. Something else under the glovebox but can't tell what it is. Also looks like a knob or something with writing on it to the right of hood release.

The "knob" to the right of the hood release is an interior light. There's also one on the left side. Here's another that is hard to see (no impossible to see) from the photos. There's a chrome bracket on the steering wheel, which I assume was for holding a flashlight.

Not an option. I believe its a hand hold.

The small block chevy wasn't offered as an option or accessory in '47
