Im need to remove the license plate light on my 1948 Deluxe. Are there any bolts holding it on the back side of the bumper - or just the two screws on the top side - Picture of back side ? Thanks

My 47 has the same license plate lite as your 48. The two straight slot screwes hold on the bezel, glass and gasket. The metal housing is retained to the gravel pan by two nuts. These nuts must be removed, to remove the housing, dont forget to disconnect the wire at the Wade connector.

Thanks Dallas - I guess the two nuts are on the underside of the bumper. The former owner used glue and silicone around the gasket- I will see if I can remove the two nuts . I'm sure I will need a new gasket. Thanks again
