Master clyinder is in and garage working. Weather is not nice so I haven't had it out for a drive. Don't expect any issues. I posted earlier about the boot not fitting the brake rod and was going to machine it. Before and after pictures are below. Where the red arrow points is where I put the groove. I used a parting tool and cut in about .040 and just wide enough for the shoulder of the boot to fit inside and lock in.

If it won't move, get a bigger wrench.
If it breaks, it needed fixing anyway.
