56executive, thanks for posting some of the accessory installation instructions. Maybe when Kev or someone else with website privileges has some time there can be found a place or made a folder to file them all in one place.

I found a partial Trico washer install kit with instruction for 51-4. It uses a separate pushbutton instead of the knob operated actuation. Bottle and pump illustration looks the same as Packard shows for those years but naturally without the co-ordinator. Wonder if Packard just bought a generic kit from Trico and used only some of it or if there was a different washer assy available from the dealers.

This is interesting, because I was going to post about my "Washer" button does not have any innards to made the connection, but the electrical hookups are there. Since my car never had the washer option, and I am adding it, I need that "punger". All I have is that dummy spacer button.
