Windshield Trim

I happen to have the bright work that surrounds the windshield. In prepping the car for blasting I removed the windshield thinking this would be an easy part to remove. That sucker seems on there with a very hardened adhesive. Is there a magic release agent?

Thanks!

Here's a photo of the window trim.

This was a couple of weeks ago, getting the body off the chassis. I've been working on the car while it's on a car trailer. A true shade tree job.

Thanks Dell. I had to get the car to media blast. The blaster promised to stay away from it. The body and paint gent did take a look at it, and didn't like the look of it. I'll shoot him an email about the soft wood and hammer.
