Gas Stabilizer anyone? Ohio here....my '55 Patrician gets stored from Nov 1st thru March 1st....I start it up from time to time and let it idle for 20 mins or so....but I always have at least 1/2 tank of fresh gas in the car before its put away..and always add gas stabilizer to the tank.... Anyone else use Stabil or a similar gas stabilizer?

My preference for gas stabilizer is 2-cyle motor oil.

I live in Vancouver WA., and have 4 cars that I put away from about October to April/May and I have always used Stabil in the half to 3/4 full gas tanks. I'm not sure I'd notice the difference whether I used it or not but sometimes I believe everything I read too

I am using the Stabil Marine Green. For fuel storage and as additive to keeping intake side clean of corn syrup residue now I can no longer get unleaded regular w/o the ethanol.

My various unscientific polling answers has been unanimously the Green.
