THE OTHER DAY i POSTED A REQUEST FOR SOME INFO ON OUR NEWLY AQUIRED pACKARD. i RECIEVED AN ANSWER FROM jIM IN (I THINK, NJ) BEING TECH IGNORANT AND NOT QUITE SURE HOW TO USE THIS SITE, I LOST WHAT jIM SENT. jIM, IF YOUR OUT THERE WOULD YOU PLEASE RE-SEND OR ANYONE ELSE WHO CAN ENLIGHTEN US ON OUR NEW OLD CAR. I don't know who you were in contact with, but perhaps it was Jim Pearsall in NJ - he's a noted historian of Classic Packards but not a frequent visitor here. FYI, if you car is an 833 it's a 1931. The equivalent car in 1930 would be a 733.

Thank you. Our confusion lay in the 31 sale year but the title was listed 30, therefore MV would not let us register with our 31 plates. Now I know it's a 31 but we had to find 30 plates. Bureaucracy, humbug!
