THE OTHER DAY i POSTED A REQUEST FOR SOME INFO ON OUR NEWLY AQUIRED pACKARD. i RECIEVED AN ANSWER FROM jIM IN (I THINK, NJ) BEING TECH IGNORANT AND NOT QUITE SURE HOW TO USE THIS SITE, I LOST WHAT jIM SENT. jIM, IF YOUR OUT THERE WOULD YOU PLEASE RE-SEND OR ANYONE ELSE WHO CAN ENLIGHTEN US ON OUR NEW OLD CAR. I don't know who you were in contact with, but perhaps it was Jim Pearsall in NJ - he's a noted historian of Classic Packards but not a frequent visitor here. If it was Mr. Pearsall, if you go to the Roster Keeper section of the Packard Club website (packardclub.org) you'll find his contact information.

FYI, if you car is an 833 it's a 1931. The equivalent car in 1930 would be a 733.

Thank you. Our confusion lay in the 31 sale year but the title was listed 30, therefore MV would not let us register with our 31 plates. Now I know it's a 31 but we had to find 30 plates. Bureaucracy, humbug!
