Does anyone know if there is a restoration service for the switch identification strips that are above each of the switches? These are the labels--CIG LITER, HEADLITES, INST LITES, etc. I have the acrylic strips, but they are so faded it's hard to read them.

Bob's speedometer offers custom work. It might be worth a call to see if they would be interested in doing anything besides instruments.http://www.bobsspeedometer.com/1/120/custom_work.asp

I'm not familiar with the construction and lettering style or color on that strip but if they are not the glow type and there is a close font available, possibly you could do something presentable yourself using some dry transfer letters. I've used them on various relabeling projects and had reasonable success. Here is one of many suppliers.http://www.pcbsupplies.com/servlet/the-Dry-Transfer-cln-Dry-Transfer-Lettering/Categories
