Why hasn't 1938 Senior Packard sold?

I keep seeing a 1938 Senior Packard on ebay and was wondering why it hasn't sold by now. Could it be the reserve is too high or is there something significantly wrong mechanically. Or, maybe the market is depressed. I guess it's anybody's guess.

kind regards
Garrett Meadows

Isn't it a sweet heart? Turnquist loved the 38.

In this case the interior looks like it came from K-Mart so the reserve is probably way too high. It would be nice to see it priced to get into the hands of an enthusiast.

Hi

I've wondered about that too. One supposes the reserve is set too high. With the interior reupholstered in the correct material and style, that handsome sedan would be hard to beat.

I rather thought the same thing. A "survivor" in that condition is hard to come by, especially a '38 senior Packard. It's been on ebay for ages. Like most, it gives me pause whenever I see what otherwise is a "choice item," and it doesn't sell. the owner wants too much, or there is something significantly wrong with the item, or both.

It's a gem of a Packard. In the right hands, it would make a very handsome driver.
