This website came up in my internet travels & looks to be worth while. Perhaps someone here has experience with them.

I've used them several times with complete satisfaction. They can rechrome worn shafts or bush worn rocker arms.

However, their services are only necessary when the shafts and rocker arm ID are extremely worn.

For a typical rebuild, I completely disassemble, remove the plugs in the end of the shaft, rod out the inside of the shafts, polish the shaft in the lathe, new plugs, grind rocker tips and reassemble. I've done dozens of sets with no problems.

The one thing to examine carefully is the depth of the pushrod seat. In a few high mileage engines, I've seen the tip of the pushrod wear the seat deep enough to actually grab the pushrod and prevent it from rotating. There's no easy repair, so those rockers have to be replaced.
