Egge, perhaps the largest supplier and/or manufacturer of pistons, valves and motor parts for antique vehicles. Their online catalog lists them as VS-183 at $12.75 each

All senior Packard 6's and 8's from '25-'39 have double springs that are intertwined. This iswhat is original and correct. We make and stock the correct double springs. No matter what vendor you try you will not find single springs for a 433 as Packard did not make them that way. I believe First and perhaps Second series Sixes had single springs.

We have run into this in the past 56 years , sometimes the car has been altered but most often the owner does not understand Packards unusual design. We've supplied thousands of these double springs.
Thanks

James, the OP said he had already tried Kanters without success - perhaps he got the wrong response?

I've used the Eggs springs some years back and they were double springs though I do note in an old Eggs catalog the spring part number had a "D" suffix.

OP wanted single spring we tried to explain that it should be double. He was not satisfied with our answer.

Thanks

I got the valve springs from Egge. Perfect match with original springs. They are single. Part V183. The double springs used on next later model were double V183D. Thanks, all, for the help.

Here is the information on the valve springs directly from Packard. The single spring was used up through the 3rd series half way and the 4 series as the customer requested used the double spring style. The information that we provided was correct.
