I've studied the photo for a bit, and it just looks like a 41 180 formal (1907-1432), like the one Bob Turnquist has. What am I missing?

The hub caps, which are correct, tell us that it's a 1942 model. The top over the driver's compartment (barely discernible in the photo) tells us that it is the one-and-only 2007-894 factory cataloged Rollson All-Weather Cabriolet. Still owned by the original owner's son, and completely original condition.
Actually, I think the tools in my other post are from this car.

Gusha, that I believe is the Turnquist car photographed at the Mount Olive (NJ) CCCA Grand Classic. But it's a different body style than the picture West posted and now that he's given us the answer, I can just see a tiny bit of the roof over the driver's area. Wouldn't have noticed it and wouldn't have noticed from the rear that it's a 42, not a 41

But West, isn't it a body style #897, not #894? I'm so glad you posted this, I didn't know if any were even built, much less survived.

The Kimes /Clark catalog says 894. Is it not right?
If you know that the hub caps are correct, you can tell that it's a '42 from that angle.

Both the Turnquist and Robert Marvin books list the 2007 Rollson AW carbiolet as #897. I don't have an original Packard reference for absolute proof.

Check for the 1941 number and see if they're consistent. The first number would be a 7 rather than an 8, but the last two should be the same.

Curious, both Turnquist and Marvin give the 41 version as #794, so it would appear both Turnquist and Marvin are incorrect for 1942. Just an example of what can happen when we rely on secondary sources of information; data for one publication just gets copied from another assuming the prior work to be correct. Glad this got cleared up, I'm going to amend my sources with pencil.

A pencil is good, because who is to say that the Kimes information is correct. While she and Austie did a fabulous job, there are a few mistakes. I suppose the next time we see the AW Cabriolet, we ought to take a look under the hood. I am unaware of a 1941 version in existence.

We made contact with the owner of the All-Weather Cabriolet this weekend:
The I.D. plate gives these numbers:
1532-2054
Delivered on March 6, 1942
Packard Minneapolis

I find it interesting that the number is the same as the Formal Sedan number.
I'll have to contact my brother and find out what the number is on his AW Town Car.
