On all the cars that I have done with hydraulic breaks I have had the cylinders sleeved with brass- it ends the corrosion problem. look at the size of the old rubbers and take a hose to NAPA. If you have a problem I think I have a hose in a box with a number on it. A good counter man should be able to fix you up if he is willing to spend the time.

The brake hoses (3 required) are Raybestos BH4497. The same front and rear wheel cylinders were used on most junior Packards from 1936-1950. The fronts are 1 1/16 and rears 15/16. I've found the following old Wagner numbers--
Front left= FD2754 left rear = FD2863 Front right=FD2755 right rear=FD2864 Since most manufactures have discontinued the above and don't list Packards in their catalogs, substition is necessary. I have recently completed a couple of Packard brake jobs using Raybestos/Napa parts. If I remember correctly the grease seals are CR17145. Suggest you take the old seal to match. Good luck

Here are the Raybestos numbers for the front cylinders 13368/13369.
There are multiple possibilities for the rear. I have used 9025/9026 with weatherhead brass adapters which allow you to use the 1/4" brake line. If you need any additional info please PM me. I had a 1940 120 4 dr sedan for 22 years and am sorry I sold it. Happy Packarding!
