any advice please on vacuum advance for my 1952 (2501) 200 deluxe.....
I know I need a new v. advance.
Do I buy a new part? I am afraid of NOS
and if I purchase a new part any recommendations from whom?
Or do I have my part rebuilt....? Is that done and by whom?

thanks. My v. advance does not hold any vacuum at all. it very well could be the original.
I am just starting to research this issue. I looked for a cross reference #. I have a delco remy system #1110825.
thanks

From Flackmaster: the company that rebuilds the vacuum advances is "Rebuilders Specialty" in Forney, TX. Very reasonable and pretty quick turnaround. Not listed on their website...mostly diesel injectors....

I just had my vacuum advance rebuilt, too late for this, but I would have used him.

FYI on duane G post:
I called rebuilders specialty yesterday . they were very helpful. sounds like they do a great job and reasonable turnaround. I think they will be a good source. I will let you know.
