The lower seal is leaking. Can this be repaired without pulling out the entire steering column?

Pull off the pitman arm. Remove the top cover. Push the sector shaft up and out of the housing. Pry out the old seal and tap in the new. Clean solidified gook out of the box. Reinstall sector shaft. Fill box with lube, reinstall cover and then pitman arm.

Thanks for help, Ross. We ended up pulling the whole thing and sending it out for rebuild while the engine is out for same.
