Marty,

Ran thru this on my 901.

Battery connected, no switches turned on.

1) Horn is powered, and the interior dome light can be turned on using the switch on the passengers door pillar. Dash light can be turned on using upper pull out switch on the left side of the dash. Brake lights are powered when pedal is depressed. Ignition circuit is powered only when ignition switch is turned on.

2) Steering wheel light switch knob (left one). One CW click turns on on the fender lights and both rear brake running lights. Second CW click turns the headlights on low beam, Third click turns the headlights on high. Fender lights and both rear brake running lights are on when low and high beam headlights are on.

The lower pull out switch on the left side of the dash turns on the instrument lights when pulled out, but only when the running or headlights are on.

3) The interior dome light turns on when a rear door is opened, only when the running or headlights are on.

Hope this helps,

Dave
