I am having trouble installing the doors. I have hung the doors and trying to level up and fit properly at the center panel body strip. The wood window trims seem to bottom out at the roof gutters . Is it possible that the wood window trim is installed after the doors are hung. That way, there is possible to do some wood filing and fitting? Also is it correct to set the doors and fit at the hinges and then install the door striker plates.
The station sedan doors are only different from sedan doors where the wood door panels are installed.

In production the doors I'm pretty sure, would have been hung and painted before the wooden appliques were installed. The doors would have been adjusted to fit their openings before the strikers were tightened down and the whole body, sans wood was sent through painting.

Packwagon; I believe the doors are the same. I fit the doors to my Station Sedan before I made the wood to fit. If the window wood hits the drip-rail it can be trimmed to fit, I had to adjust the rear door window wood when I made the rear quarter window wood. I might suggest you remove the window wood and fit the door and then adjust the wood, if you remove to much you are in trouble. Dell

I think you are right. As I try to fit. It is obvious the wood will have to be worked on, thanks for your input.

Yes, I do see now that the striker should be adjusted after the hinges are set, thanks for your tip.,
