Need 2 used but presentable front door sills for our 48, Actually, I think 21st series would also work.

21st series sills would fit the opening in your car but the original sill rubber on the Clipper based cars 41 thru 50 was vulcanized to a metal plate. I cannot say for certain the clips holding the plate to the body are in the same place on all years.

If you want visual authenticity and to match the rear sills on your car, the number and spacing of the ribs changed with the 22nd series. The name Packard was also done differently. IMO, it would be more advantageous and probably easier to find used if your search concentrated on 22-23 series cars.
