Hello Karl, I think your English is very good for the circumstances but don’t be afraid to check obscure words with a translator. Google Übersetzer and online dictionaries as sometimes there are specific words in English and German which are easily confused.

For example, I am currently in Germany for some industrial equipment repair and the customer was calling a Servomotor a “drive” when “drive” in English is Antrieb in German. This caused a good amount of confusion at first!

Thanks for pointing out the translator. Seems helpful. So far I've only been able to translate parts of sentences because I didn't know that this freeware now also translates entire texts. and the best thing is… if you now find grammatical errors…. Did Google make them!!
