Working through trying to get my Clipper running-- recently rebuilt (or tried) the carburetor and fuel pump and noticed the connection from the manifold was broken along the way. What I can't quite tell is how the connection is made. Is the lip/flange (or whatever it might be called) in the pic something that threads out? Or does anyone have some info on how this connection could/should be repaired? I want to be careful not to create more work or problems by having incorrect assumptions. If there is any literature I've overlooked specific to this connection please share. I barely have found videos/pics of other cars with the connection and those haven't enlightened me. Thanks.

The tube in the manifold is just for pulling heated air into the choke so, as long as the tube running through the manifold is intact and not sucking in exhaust, it is not too important for simply test-running the engine other than the choke wall take longer to open. The connection just fits relatively loosely inside so no fittings there at all.
