I bought the bulb/socket kit from CW Moss which is a vintage Ford supplier in Calif. Not sure if they also have a 6v option.

Kev, If you had to drive at night can you actually see the amber flashing thru the headlight glare well enough or far enough in the distance to indicate your turn?

I haven't looked at head on as while I am driving at night, but I know I can see the flasher light reflecting off stuff towards the side of car.

Next time I have the car out at night, I'll try to get some video.
