Good advice, but if you've replaced the two radial ball bearings (which often corrode and freeze up) and the replacments are not exactly the same width, best do it "by the book".

My memory was just refreshed by the parts book, there is only 1 required per unit and it is in the worm gear end of the actuator. In both my units the originals were corroded and frozen (condensation?) and rather than search for original PMCC parts I just picked up off-the-rack bearings of the same ID and OD, but the balls and race were slightly thicker so I had to back out the antihunt quite a bit to compensate. Part# of the radial bearing itself is 6484423. Sorry if I caused any confusion; I should learn to consult the parts book before I open my mouth.
