if convenient, could you obtain for me the body serial number (thief-proof number). It's the large embossed number on the engine side of the cowl enclosed by brackets like <1XXXXX>. Thanks.

Very fine photos, and thank you for posting. I hope everyone notices the super-rare Light Eight accessory twin horns that are installed on this car. Mountain Motors was the Packard distributer in Denver for many years. Their building was located at the intersection of Speer Boulevard and Lincoln Street, a site now occupied by a TV station. If you have additional photos I would enjoy seeing them. Thank you.

I've already loved the grille on the '32 Light Eight. I wonder why Packard decided not to continue with that style grille.

Anybody notice the additional mirror chained to the spare tire on the drivers side? Does anybody know a ballpark value on this car?

Old Cars Price Guide says a 1932 Packard Light Eight sedan is worth $15750 in #3 condition(very good) or $7000 in #4 (good).

I would use Old Cars Weekly pricing only when I wanted to buy a Packard. NADA pricing athttp://www.nadaguides.com is more realistic though their retail highs probably need to be reduced refelcting the slight decline in recent pricing because of the economy.

I would say a 900 Sedan in decent shape would bring closer to $30K. Convertibles are selling closer to $100K

Hi

Thanks for the notice of this car and where it can be inspected. Next time I visit family in Colorado later this year, I'll have to stop by for a look. Sweet Car!

Steve
