"PACKARDS" bumper sticker - Apologies to Green Bay
#1

Winter has been a bit long here in South Dakota, so in the final stages of "cabin fever" I thought of a DIY project and completed it yesterday.

Supplies:
2 - Green Bay "Packers" bumper stickers
1 pair of scissors

1. Cut out the "A" from the second sticker and stick it over the "E" on the first sticker.
2. Now make a "D" by
a. Cutting out the left half of the "c" from the second sticker.
b. Cut out the left half of the "R" from the second sticker ("K" can work also).
c. Reverse the "c" piece and put it next to the "R" piece to make a "D"
3. Place the these two pieces over the "S" to make a "D"

That spells PACKARD!

Option #2: Add the "S" end of sticker #2 to extend sticker #1 so it spells PACKARDS.

WARNING: Don't try this in stores. Buy 2 Stickers with your own money and TRY THIS AT HOME.

Like I said, it has been a long winter and I hope to soon be doing real Packard work instead of cutting stickers.

Perhaps a second apology would also be in order to

GREEN BAY MOTORS

if there is anyone out there to accept such an apology.

I apologize.

Mea Culpa!

Here is The Green Bay Packard.

I'm sure you could sell one to this proud Packer-Packard owner.

Dan it would not be a far venture to state perhaps you have too much time on your hands. But I do love the idea.

Your productively exceads my own. My solstice stalemate was beginning to lead to plots of how to turn my Packard into a transformer.

If it wasn't for those meddling kids, and their dog too...

1952 200 deluxe touring- its a goer...but not a stopper. Just ask my neighbour about her flower bed.

Yeah, I have "too much time" especially in winters.

BUT what do you say about the "Shriner guy" with the Green Bay Packers paint job, racing stripe, upholstry, matching interior, helmet hood ornament ... etcetra?

OH I forgot, this is Green Bay Packers, NFL, man-sports, t-e-a-m, ... This FAN obviously got the PACKERS-PACKARDS connection much earlier than I did. He has also driven it many 1000 miles farther than my bumper sticker.

I am sticking with my paint job, and being an avid DETROIT PARKARDS fan!

I wonder if this car ever gets hailed as a CAB?
"Taxi ... taxi?"

Thanks for the grins. I can see Spring from here.

A swing and...a miss. Well with me anyway.

Yeah a 'man's team'. I call it like I see it and frankly I see it as a bunch of big, sweaty dudes in tight pants with raging hormones. Call me un-manly, but personally I don't get organized sports and the mob like mentality that goes with it.

Obviously the owner of said "packer-d" is a hard core fan that probably spends more on season tickets than most people make in one year. I congratulate him on this ability, but the vehicle can still be described as FUGLY.

Mike,
I never heard that 'fugly' word before (at least your contracted-version of it).

I imagine the GB Packard is one small part of a much larger 'toy collection'.

I bought my Clipper from a 'toy collector.' He bred and raised thoroughbred race horses in Kentucky bluegrass country. He had so many toys that he never played with this old Packard. Actually he bought it as a family favor to an aunt who was going into a nursing home. So you might say he stored it until he could find a PACKARD-FAN (like old DAN). For that, I am truly grateful.

Now old 'Clipper Jack' it is getting the attention he deserves. (I hope he doesn't buck when I put that Green Bay Packard sticker on it.
