JT120:

Thanks for the info! One more question, if I may: the two piece unit, in case you have it pictured, is it two identical bumper guards with bars in between them or only two identical bumper guards without any bars.

Also, you don't mention if this two piece unit was available for the junior or for the senior series, and given the price difference in the single bumper guard between junior and senior, I assume there must have been a difference in price in the double unit.

Thanks for your help,
Victor

The dual guard looks to be the same or close to the single guard but with 2 bars connecting. The listing for the dual guard does not specify jr/sr as does the single guard.

I browsed around the net and found two pics which help me in the sense that both are Junior cars with the dual foldable bumper guard option, one of them shows bars in between them while the other one that doesn't, I got the pic from ebay, from a great original car that I also saw at Hershey, but didn't take note on the bumper treatment back then.

Thanks for all the help,

victor

Nice car. It also shows the Packard script. There is a photo of a 1940 Packard 180 on the AACA site, and it, too, has the script. As I mentioned before, I was told that the scripted bumper should only be on cars WITHOUT luggage racks (in reference to 1940 Packards).
