It would be intresting to know the details on how the car is stabilized to not tip over.

Doesn't look like anything different was done in that regard. When the Cadillac started moving it wobbled a bit so must just be using the standard front suspension.

Unless a car had a really narrow track and was hugely top heavy, doubt any danger of tipping--just seasickness.

Howard, that was my first thought too. The engine is heavy and probably even heavy enough to balance an obstacle like a curbstone or a threshold in the driveway.
