Early Ford Truck Disc Brakes on Packard

My search failed to find the article here, but I recall reading somewhere about being able to use early Ford truck spindles and disc brake assemblies on a Packard, with a minimum of machining. Obviously, the master cylinder and booster would have to be changed out as well. Has anyone done or researched this? If so, what was/is the consensus?
Thanks,
John

Yes. Here are some pix:

I believe that the Ford P/U kingpin is slightly larger than the Exec's, but that's no biggie.
