Does anyone know the fitting size/type between the filter housing and the Carter 928 S carb? I bought a glass bowl filter from a Restoration company but I'm at a loss as to the proper fitting to connect it to the carburetor.

In plumbing terms it would be a 1/8 inch pipe nipple, ie a very short piece of pipe with 1/8 pipe thread on each end and if you are lucky a hex in the middle. It would screw directly into the carburetor and directly into the filter with no other fittings. Should be brass and not even a whole inch long.

What ross said, all of my fuel ports so far on my pump, carb, filter, etc have all been 1/8 NPT.
