Hey Guys,

Where does the spring that attaches to the side of the engine go? The original was worn out and broke on me. I bought a spring at Lowe's that was comparable to it.
Is this where it goes?:https://packardinfo.com/xoops/html/uploads/newbb/1679_4e604529cdd78.jpg

This is from parts book. Do you see the little 3.1151 clip and a clear path to the throwout fork.

Hey thanks Howard! Luckily the clip is still intact on the engine. The long straight part of the spring is what broke on me. And yes, I see a clear path to the throw out fork.
